Love in virtual reality. Killer robots. Climate migration. A new form of justice. These are stories shaping the future. Each episode of "Shift" goes to the frontlines of radical change in technology and culture, where new frontiers are explored and existential questions are raised.

New technology has changed the way we meet. But will it redefine love as we know it?

I began working on this story in the role of associate producer as an intern, and it was one of the first projects I was assigned following my promotion to associate producer. For this story, I was involved heavily in researching, sourcing, transcribing and pulling quotes from tape, and assisting with scripting.

Jennifer Gil kept a video diary throughout her two-week fight with COVID-19. An expert breaks down each stage of her symptoms and recovery.

My role as one of the producers on this story included piecing together the timeline, transcribing and picking sound bites from the tape, and scripting.

We spoke with Europeans impacted by their governments' decisions to directly pay worker salaries during the coronavirus pandemic.

I worked as an associate producer on this piece mostly focusing on sourcing and conducting an interview at a time when we were still very new at using Zoom.

Across the U.S., waste incinerators have health impacts for communities living nearby. In Baltimore, there's a heated debate over what to do about it.

I served as lead producer for my internship project, and I wanted to take the opportunity to explore the effects of environmental racism in communities surrounding DC.
